Russia has deployed a fighter jet over the Baltic Sea after two US strategic bombers were sighted flying towards Russia’s border.
Russia’s Defence Ministry said its fighter jet was deployed to prevent a potential border violation and was returned to its base airfield after the American aircraft redirected.
